Our Story —

We are a collective of designers, makers, and artists that share the language of flowers. Founded by Judy Leung, in the spring of 2024, we have planted our roots in the heart of Berkeley, California.

In spring 2024, Found Floral opened its first design studio in Berkeley, California—a creative home for designing, building, and gathering. Rooted in a love for nature and shaped by Judy's background in industrial and experience design, our work blends botanical artistry with thoughtful craftsmanship. From custom mechanics to sculptural installations, we collaborate with local artisans to create immersive botanical experiences that celebrate seasonality, materiality, and place. Today, Found Floral partners with couples, brands, hospitality spaces, museums, and cultural institutions to create destination celebrations and design-led collaborations across the United States and Europe.

Creative Team —

Judy Leung

Creative Director

Judy Leung is the Founder and Creative Director of Found Floral. Before founding the studio, she worked in industrial design, where she developed a deep appreciation for materiality, process, and thoughtful object-making.

Sammi Kae

Lead Floral Designer

Sammi Kae collaborates with Found Floral as a Lead Designer for select weddings and installations, bringing a detail-oriented approach to floral design and event execution.

Our Design Process —

It starts with place, season, and land - our design process is rooted in a love for craft, and the art of storytelling through the natural world. 

Whether it’s a local or a project away from home, we’re always inspired by land and season. We strive to partner with local growers and nurseries to source our materials thoughtfully, and to support the communities we create in. Our ingredients inspire our ideas, shape our design process, and inform our creations because no location nor story is the same.
